Last week I was in Salt Lake City for eXpcon with thousands of agents and leaders from around the world. I go every year for one reason: to bring back what's working and put it to work for you.
On stage, in the room, and after hours in Salt Lake City
Here's what stood out:
01
Two Times On Stage
I spoke twice on investing, including the "Winning WITH and AS an Investor" panel. My message: you build wealth one property at a time, and your agent should be able to underwrite a deal, not just unlock the door.
02
eXp Ready: Up to $50K
A new program that lets you borrow up to $50,000 from eXp to rehab your house before you sell. Paint, foundation cracks, flooring, staging. Most homes don't need $50K. Some need a weekend and a dumpster. I'll tell you which.
03
Leo Takes the Reins
Leo Pareja, CEO of eXp Realty, is now CEO of AGNT, eXp's parent company. Founder Glenn Sanford moves to Chairman. His focus is technology, AI and growth, which means more firepower behind your listing.
04
AI Behind Your Listing
The biggest theme of the week. We're using AI where it matters most for you: marketing. Sharper listing copy, targeted ads, faster video. It doesn't replace the relationship. It makes sure every serious buyer sees your home.
05
Experience Wins
The slowest market in roughly 30 years. Realtor ranks are down from 1.6 million to 1.3 million, and team agents are producing 30% to 40% more than solo agents. It's exactly why we built Proven Realty as a team.
In the full post I break down exactly what eXp Ready covers and why a slow market is the best time to have the right team behind you:
My read: a slow market separates professionals from part-timers. If you're thinking about buying, selling or investing in the next 12 months, text me at (701) 369-3949 and let's talk strategy before you make a move.

OCTOBER CONTRACTOR SPECIAL · ENDS OCT 31
Shops now starting at $300,000
Phase 1 is nearing completion, and Schauer Construction is offering special pricing through October. Choose from 1,500 to 2,280 SF, each with 14 foot overhead doors, 16 foot sidewalls, heat and A/C, a 3/4 bath with shower, and a one-year builder warranty.
Prices eased with inventory building, but homes are starting to move faster.
THE TAKEAWAY
Williston firmed up on all three metrics this week. Watford City saw a sharp price drop from $460K to $426K, but inventory tightened and homes are moving faster, which signals buyers are stepping in on the reset. Dickinson eased on price but days on market dropped notably. Across the Bakken, the pattern is clear: fall buyers are responding to right-priced listings. Sellers testing summer-peak numbers are the ones watching October slip away.
